Background:
- 10 years of civil service in HGEA
- Recipient of multiple awards from the Hawaii State Senate, Hawaii State House of Representatives and Honolulu City Council
- Graduate student at the University of Hawaii pursuing a master’s of public health in health policy
- Degrees: Doctorate in theology, doctorate in ministry; master’s and bachelor’s in political science
- Former committee clerk and research analyst with the Hawaii State House of Representatives
