Ratification voting for Units 2, 3, 8 and 13 begins April 21

Be on the lookout for a ratification email coming on Wednesday morning and be sure to cast your vote!
Employees in Units 2, 3, 8 and 13 will have the opportunity to vote on their unit’s tentative agreement with the employer group on a successor collective bargaining agreement effective July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2023. The agreements were reached after we received an unexpected eleventh hour counter-proposal from the employers to settle the contract in response to the unions' proposal that the employer increase its contribution toward your health benefit premiums with the Employer-Union Health Benefits Trust Fund (EUTF).
If you are an active bargaining unit employee in unit 2, 3, 8 or 13 and you haven’t received an email with an electronic ballot, the deadline to request an electronic ballot is 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 22. Contact the HGEA Member Service Center at firstname.lastname@example.org and provide your full name, email address, a contact phone number and department.
Note: There is no parking available at the HGEA Oahu Division Office.
