Contract Negotiations Update: Impasse Filed for Most Units

Bargaining Units 2, 3, 4, 8, 9. 13 & 14 have formally filed for impasse, meaning that no progress has been made with the employer in negotiations for the next contract period beginning July 1, 2019.
Filing for impasse is a step that your negotiations team decided is necessary to move the process forward. During this process, we are still able to bargain and reach a tentative agreement at any time. However, if the process fails to bring a satisfactory resolution, we are prepared to take our case to arbitration.
