Who is eligible to join HGEA?
Active members that are state and county employees in bargaining units 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9 and 13. Mandatory
statutory union dues are automatically deducted, so it costs nothing more to join HGEA. All other eligible
members are classified as associate members. Membership categories and dues rates are printed on page
2 of the application. Upon receipt of your application, a union representative will contact you to determine
your payment plan.

2. Fill out applicable sections on both pages. Don't forget to sign the form.
3. Mail the completed form to: HGEA, P.O. Box 2930, Honolulu, HI 96802-2930.
Once membership is approved, you will receive your HGEA membership card within 3 to 4 weeks. For more
